I thought I’d share a few more images from my session with the band “Beautiful Clamity”. I really enjoyed the session and I think we created some amazing images. I really enjoy doing these type of sessions. Bands are so much fun and there is a lot of room to be creative. If you are in a band, know members of a band or are going to start a band….give me a call and let me help you create some amazing band promo images. If you want to check “Beautiful Clamity” and their music you can check them out here. Leave me some feedback on the images.
Last saturday I had the opportunity to do a shoot with two sisters. We had so much fun and the girls are absolutely gorgeous. Brooke is a senior this year and Cheyenne is a junior. We went to a bunch of different locations and did a bunch of fun stuff. The girls literally had their Moms van filled with clothing changes and accessories. I wanted to share a couple of shots here before I even have the rest edited. I’ll share some more when I get them done. Thanks girls I had a blast hanging out with you and creating these images.
This last week I had the opportunity to do a shoot for a some guys from Crawfordsville, In. that have started their own Christian band. They call themselves “Beautiful Calamity”. I had a great time hanging out with these guys and we got some great shots! Two of the guys are still in highschool. They are fun, creative, full of life and they love to use their music to honor God. I don’t know about you but that all sounds great in my book. If you want to hear some music from their recently released demo you can check it out here. Thanks guys for the opportunity to create some awesome images for you….I had a blast. Oh yeah, and thanks for the CD!!!
Last week I had the privilege to take Megan’s senior pictures. It was extra special for me because years ago when we lived in Anderson Julie and I were Megan’s youth pastors. I remember when she was in 5th grade standing outside our youth center sneaking a peek inside to see what all the “Big Kids” were doing. Well, now Megan is the “Big Kid” and she graduates in a 9 short months. Thanks Megan for allowing me to help create these memories for you. Make sure your senior year is your best year!!!
Okay, I know I just posted a Project 52 pic but I shot this on the same night that I shot the Versus pic. The title of image is “Hidden Surprise”. I don’t have a long back story on this shot I was just looking for a fun concept. I love shooting different concepts. I love creating “art” with my camera. Now for some technical stuff for all my photog friends. I shot this with three flashes, all off camera. There are two flashes on the right and left of me pointing toward my shoulders. I have home made snoots on the flashes. The idea was to create some seperation from the background causing me to stand out a bit more. The third flash is inside the box and has a yellow gell on it. All three flashes were set to 1/8th power. The camera was set at 1/60th of a sec at f 5.6 and iso 100. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
