Stacey’s Headshots

A few weeks ago I did some headshots for my friend Stacey. Stacey is a photographer in Thorntown, IN. You can check her facebook page  here. Well, headshots are important for anyone in business who connects with the public. I’ve seen hundreds of “Deer in the Head Lights” business headshots or the “Mug shot shapshot” type photo. Emily

I did a senior session last week with Emily. We had a blast. I love working with H.S. seniors. She saw some shots I did in the basement of the Freedom Church youth center and requested we do some there as well. I had a lot of fun hanging out with her and her sister and we got some awesome shots.

A little bit behind

Yeah, yeah…I know. I’ve let the blog realllllllyyyyy  suffer. In my defense…well, I don’t really have one. I’m going to try and do better so please, please love me. Okay, I feel better. So, here are weeks 14 and 15 of the project 52. I’ve got 7 weeks to finsh 37 images. Not sure if I’ll get it done but I’m going to try. So, here they are….

He loves his skateboard!

Last week I had the privilege to doing Jarod’s senior pictures. I love working with high school seniors. They are so much fun. Well, Jarod was no exception. Jarod is a 2011 senior at South Monthgomery High School in Crawfordsville. I always try to incorporate what each students is into to make their pictures special and meaningful. Jarod is into skateboarding. So we headed out to his favorite skateboard spots and pulled out the camera. We had a blast. I would kill myself if I tried to pull off those tricks but Jared had no problem. Jarod thanks for letting me create these amazing images. Enjoy your senior year!!

I’ve Been MIA

I know, I know….I’ve been MIA (Missing In Action) on the blog lately. My family has been in  the midst of moving. Where to you ask…well, it’s my great pleasure to announce that as of this Sunday we will be living in Lebanon, IN. Why? Well all kinds of reasons acutually. First, my wife Julie got a new job in the Lebanon area. About 80% of my work is already in Boone Co. and our church is in Lebanon in which we are EXTREMELY involved. So, it just made sense for us to move. Now, to all my faithful clients and friends in Crawfordsville and Montgomery Co. I will still be available for portrait sessions. Just drop me a note and we will make it happen. We have enjoyed living in Crawfordsville for the last 3 years but it’s time for some change. Now, since this is a photo blog below I attached a picture from my last session with Cheyenne and Brooke so you would have something beautiful to look at. Enjoy!
