The boys pulled out their “Slip and Slide” yesterday and of course being the Dad that I am I ran outside to grab some pics. I absolutely love summer time with my family. There is nothing better than spending time with Julie and the boys during the summer. I decided a long time ago that I’m going to take advantage of every moment I can to make memories with my boys. Their only going to be young for a very short time. I want to fill their memory banks with incredible memories of being with their family. So, if you find a lot of posts on the blog that show my kids it’s because my family is what I’m most passionate about. The reason you don’t see a lot of pics of Julie on the blog is because she hates it when I take her picture. Ha! I’ll sneak some shots of her this summer and when I do I’ll post those too. Here are a few pics of the boys.
Last week we were in Springfield, Mo. on our family vacation. We spent the week with my wife Julie’s family. We spent time by the pool, went to Bass Pro Shop, and spent one day at Silver Dollar City. The boys got to play all week with their cousins and they had a blast. What would a visit with family be without an impromptu photo session. I got the kids together and did a little shoot in the park. I have to admit…we’ve got some cute kids!! We got back from vacation on Friday and after a relaxing weekend we’re ready to hit the ground running!
We are offering an amazing special for Father’s Day. A one hour portrait session at the park and an 8 x 12 mounted collage for the prices of a regular session, $75. In addition we are going to offer 25% off our regular package and ala carte pricing for this event. The catch is that the session must be shot on June 8th to get the prints back in time to surprise Dad and we only have 7 spots open for that day….So, if you are interested and you want one of these spots for your own you need to call NOW and secure your spot!! Well, we went camping last weekend and we had a blast. The only problem was that the weather was not all that the weather man said it was going to be soooo, we ended up with cool, cloudy and rainy. We had a blast inspite of the weather. Friday night I went out on the boat with some friends to do some Catfish fishing. Well, we ended up spending the night sitting on the water looking at the stars, talking and watching our nightcrawlers drown…..Ha! On Saturday we spent several hours taking the boys fishing and they must bring all the good luck with them because we did so much better on Saturday. We cooked a batch of fish on Saturday for dinner along with, chicken and pork on the grill. We had a great time and I’m looking to several more camping trips this summer. Here is a quick pic to prove I wasn’t simply telling a “Fish Story”.
Well, I’m only 3 weeks late but here are some pics from Trey’s B-day. He has gotten into skateboarding so we took him, his brother and his buddy to a skate park. We had perfect weather. He got a new skateboard for his B-day. he turned the big “9” this year. I can’t believe they will both be in double digits next year. I hate that they keep getting older.
